Women’s ethnic wear brand Farida Gupta will hold pop-up shopping exhibitions in New Delhi, Gurugram, Noida, Chandigarh, and Ahmedabad to showcase its spring collection and reach new customers. From January 10 to 12, 2019 Farida Gupta will set up shop in Delhi’s Royal Park Hall in Greater Kailash. She will present an array of handloom kurtas, reversible jackets, and other sets in printed textiles featuring Jaal and Buta designs.
Gupta’s Gurugram exhibition will run from January 17 to 19 at South City’s South Patio. Along with new items, the pop-up will feature the brand’s end of year sale. From January 23 to 24, the brand will showcase its designs at the Oyo Townhouse in Noida. Gupta will then travel to Chandigarh for a showcase from January 28 to 30 at the city’s Himachal Bhawan. Finally, the brand will hold a pop-up in Ahmedabad at the Anmol Art Gallery in Radhika House from February 6 to 8.
Farida Gupta launched her eponymous brand in 2012 to celebrate India’s traditional dyeing, embroidery, printing, and weaving crafts. The brand uses natural materials and aims to keep artisan crafts alive.
