Women’s wear brand Raw Mango has closed four flagship stores in India and postponed upcoming international trunk shows but remains positive about weathering the storm brought about by Covid-19. Raw Mango closed its two flagship stores in New Delhi, as well as one each in Mumbai and Bengaluru, in response to the Voronavirus pandemic, the brand announced on Facebook on March 19.
The brand has also postponed all of its planned international trunk show events as countries across the world shut down operations. Its teams, who are largely working from home, will process orders via Whatsapp. The entire team will be fully remunerated during this time.
Designer Sanjay Garg launched Raw Mango in 2008. The brand recently launched its spring/summer collection’Between’, which was inspired by flowers from Kerala and heritage textile designs.
