Watch brand Timex launched its first fashion-focused fitness band in India on November 10, as the brand expands from the budget segment of the fitness band market into the bridge-to-luxury segment.
As per Fashion Network, Timex’s new fitness watch range features models for both men and women. It features activity tracking, music control, heart rate monitor, and notification alerts. The line, available in rose gold and black, shows Timex’s focus towards the fashion segment.
The Timex Fitness Band is being offered in two colours, Rose Gold and Black with stainless steel mesh strap design. The watch is also available with a black silicone strap for people who don’t like watches with stainless steel strap or want to go for an elegant look.
The band has a rectangular design that measures 41.7 millimetres. The fitness band features a 2.4 centimeters color display that supports touch input. The band has also received a water-resistant certifications and is water-resistant by upto 1.5 meters.
Timex fitness tracker is equipped with a heart-rate sensor that keeps a track of your heart-rate vitals. The band is also capable of activity tracking including step counter and calories burnt. It also offers music playback control and Timex claims it can provide up to five days worth of battery life on a single charge.
The Timex Fitness Band has a metal finish and is available in two colours to choose from. It comes with both a mesh stainless steel bracelet-style band and a silicone strap. The line launched on Timex’s dedicated e-commerce store and in select Timex retail outlets. Watches from the collection retail from Rs 4,495 ($60.36).
