02 September 2024, Mumbai

The recently concluded 26th edition of Bangalore Fashion Week (BFW) Winter Festive was a vibrant three-day event, showcasing the creative talents of 15 designers who unveiled their latest collections.

A standout moment on the final day was the presentation by Hyderabad-based designer Ganesh Nallari. Returning to BFW for the third time, Nallari captivated the audience with an exquisite couture collection of Indian ethnic wear.

Characterised by intricate patchwork, his designs reflected his belief that 'personalised clothing leads to responsible fashion.' Titled Priya Udyāna (My Dear Garden), Nallari’s collection was inspired by his own life experiences. He shares, the collection is about recognising the beautyn front of you. The central theme of his work revolves around the idea of a flower blooming in the wild, even without care.

To bring this vision to life, 24 models graced the runway with flowers adorning their hair, symbolising natural beauty. The runway backdrop was designed to resemble a lush rainforest, while the garments themselves represented blooming flowers. The collection featured a vibrant palette of floral hues, including red, yellow, green, and teal.

BFW concluded with a closing show by designer Rahul Singh, wrapping up a week that celebrated the finest in Indian couture and creative expression.
