A91 Partners raises stake in Rare Rabbit to 14.17%

Investment firm A91 Partners has raised in stake in the in the apparel brand Rare Rabbit to 14.17 per cent by acquiring 23, 073 shares in the business.

The company acquired these shares for a capital of Rs 50 crore, as per Entrackr, which sourced its data from the Registrar of Companies.

Having over 100 brick-and-mortar stores across, Rare Rabbit has reported rising consumer demand for its products, as per a report by Apparel Resources. The brand aims to continue expanding its operations in the country with an omni-channel approach.

Launched by entrepreneurs Manish Poddar and Akshika Poddar as a premium men’s apparel brand in 2015, Rare Rabbit later expanded into womenswear and children’s wear by launching the brands Rareism and Rare Ones, respectively under the House of Rare business. Other previous investors in the business include Vedant Modi, the Ravi Modi family trust, Gruhas, and NkSquared.
