Babyshop ventures into physical retail with maiden brick-and-mortar store in Chennai

Landmark Group’s children’s clothing and lifestyle brand Babyshop ventured into physical retail with the opening of its first brick-and-mortar store in Express Avenue Mall in Chennai. The brand aims to continue expanding its brick-and-mortar presence and launch flagship stores in cities including Hyderabad and Pune.

Inaugurated by Bollywood celebrity, Soha Ali Khan, the brand’s maiden store retails products including apparel, travel gear, nursery furniture and toys.

Catering to children from new-born babies to 10 year old kids, the multi-brand store blends international trends with local consumer preferences. It houses global brands such as Philips, Chicco, Sebamed, Joie, and Lego. The store offers innovating services like the Stroller Testing Track and the personalized My Baby Expert assistance besides offering a wide range of globally popular products, notes Dheeraj Chawla, Business Head-India.
