EPCH appoints Neeraj Khanna as new Chairman during 199th meeting

At the 199th meeting of its Committee of Administration, the Export Promotion Council for Handicrafts (EPCH) appointed Neeraj Khanna as its new chairman. The Council also appointed Sagar Mehta as the vice chairman during the meeting.
Having previously served as Vice Chairman, EPCH, Khanna takes the helm at EPCH at a time when export promotion and global competitiveness remain central to the handicrafts industry’s agenda.
Established in 1987 as a non-profit organisation under the Companies Act, The EPCH serves as the apex body for handicrafts exporters in India. The organisation is involved in developing the infrastructure required to promote and grow handicraft exports. Besides, it also provides market intelligence, and ensures adherence to international standards. The Council continues to play a key role in positioning India as a trusted global supplier of quality handicraft products.
