Rahul Mishra achieves new milestone with unveiling of Hyderabad flagship store

This month, Designer Rahul Mishra achieved another milestone with the opening of his latest flagship store at the Banjara Hills in Hyderabad. Offering a serene and immersive shopping experience, this highly-anticipated retail space blends artistry with a Zen-like calm through its thoughtful and unexpected visual merchandising.
Spanning across 5,000-sq-ft, the boutique houses an extensive range of creations from both Rahul Mishra Couture and AFEW Rahul Mishra. Designed in the brand’s signature trompe l’oeil style, the store’s façade is reminiscent of a flower shop. A hallmark of his couture pieces, embroidered flowers adorn the storefront, symbolising both nature’s beauty and the romance infused in his garments.
Designed by Amith Chhabra, the store’s interiors reflect the brand’s commitment to slow fashion and support for India’s traditional craftsmanship. Minimalist yet rich in detail, the store resembles an art gallery or museum. It is inspired by the iconic rocks found in Hyderabad and its Hussain Sagar Lake. Made of rippled stainless steel, the store’s ceiling mimics the reflection of water, creating an optical illusion when sunlight filters through the black steel windows and columns
Inside, sleek curved racks in gleaming white contribute to an atmosphere of tranquility. The store’s subdued color palette creates a neutral backdrop that allows the vibrant, intricately designed garments to take center stage.
Rahul Mishra's collections are displayed like fine art in the store, with miniature outfits and eye-catching bags enhancing the visual appeal. The store reimagines its changing rooms as cylindrical wooden spaces, featuring curved surfaces highlighted by stone elements, evoking a couture-like cuboid that seamlessly blends natural materials.
