Emerging as one of the nation’s top kidswear brands, homegrown South India-based babywear label Sprog plans to expand its presence across the country.
Focusing on safety, sustainability, and subtle luxury, Sporg’s expansion strategy begins with strengthening operations in southern markets throughout 2025-26. Following that, Sprog plans to move into western hubs like Mumbai and Gujarat between 2027 and 2028. This phased approach is a response to the growing demand for premium baby clothing and the strong trust parents place in Sprog's philosophy.
A core advantage for the brand is its dedication to safety. The brand makes all garments with 100 per cent combed cotton and azo-free dyes. Its designs are intentionally kept free from irritants such as internal tags or harsh elastics.
Recognizing the increasing parental awareness of infant skin sensitivity, Sprog also plans to introduce hypoallergenic fabrics in future collections. The brand’s designs are inspired by the five elements of nature – earth, water, fire, air and space.. The company's expansion signals a wider trend in India's apparel sector toward high-quality, sustainable newborn wear.
