Arvind Fashions to double Flying Machine revenues to Rs 1,000 crore

Led by Shailesh Chaturvedi, Managing Director and CEO, Arvind Fashions aims to double the revenues of its denim wear brand Flying Machine to Rs 1,000 crore in the coming years.
Shifting its focus to Gen Z customers and millennials, the brand aims to expand its trendy products range, and also retail footprint. The brand plans to launch new products inspired by Korean and Japanese styles, It has already collaborated with internet personality Orry to launch new styles like baggy shirts, trendy jeans and innovative ‘jorts’ (jeans + shorts). The Orry X Flying Machine collection combines the brand’s denim heritage with contemporary trends.
The brand also plans to double its store count and increase online presence, notes Chaturvedi anticipating, its focus on urban centers and small will help the brand boost digital sales to nearly 30 per cent of total revenue from the current 25 per cent.
Currently, young adults make up around 35 per cent of the brand’s consumer base, but it aims to increase this to at least 50 per cent by attracting more Gen Z consumers and millennials, adds Chaturvedi.
