The 2nd North India Garment Fair (NIGF 2024) kicked off on June 11 and will run until June 13, 2024, at the Yashobhoomi Convention Centre (IICC) in Dwarka, New Delhi. Organized by the Clothing Manufacturers Association of India (CMAI), the event boasts a lineup of over 200 exhibitors presenting a wide range of menswear, womenswear, and kidswear.
The grand opening ceremony saw esteemed figures from North India's retail landscape, with luminaries such as Manik Jain &Sahil Jain from Aristocrat Garments, Bharat BhushanTaneja from Paul Garments, and R D Gupta from Bindals Group, among others, gracing the occasion as Guests of Honour.
CMAI was well-represented by key dignitaries including Rajesh Masand, President; RohitMunjal, Vice President; Santosh Kataria, Chairman of NIGF; Rahul Mehta, Chief Mentor; and Pankaj Jain, Honorary Secretary - North, alongside other office bearers.
Rajesh Masand, President of CMAI, highlighted the industry's potential for growth, emphasizing NIGF 2024's role in bolstering MSMEs and fostering trade in North India. Meanwhile, Santosh Katariya, Chairman, underscored the fair's significance as a platform for manufacturers to connect with retailers and refresh their merchandise offerings.
With over 95 per cent of exhibitors representing MSMEs from various regions including Mumbai, Surat, Jaipur, Bengaluru, and more, NIGF 2024 promises a dynamic showcase of India's vibrant garment industry. Retailers from across the nation have eagerly pre-registered to explore the latest trends and forge new partnerships at the fair.
