India’s largest fabric manufacturer OCM has agreed to sponsor upcoming tennis super star Rohan Mittal. This will help the company encourage young talent in India. Hailing from Kurukshetra, Haryana Mittal has played tennis for several years now, and won many accolades, like, AITA Championship series singles in 2018 & 2019; Fourth rank in U-12 Haryana State Tennis Championship; Ranked 85th in U-18 National ranking, etc. He now aims to win the gold medal for India.
Fabric manufacturer OCM began its journey in the textile field in 1924 and forayed into worsted fabrics in 1972. The company has a manufacturing facility in Amritsar and is the first integrated worsted unit in India and has been awarded the ISO 9001 certification. The company has a sprawling 37 acre complex that houses a new-age plant with an annual capacity of 8 million meters of fabric and an employee base of 1,900.
