Popees Baby Care to open 42 brick-and-mortar stores in FY2025

A leading brand in mother and baby clothing, personal care, and lifestyle products, Popees Baby Care plans to open 42 brick-and-mortar stores across India during FY2025. The expansion will focus on key southern states including Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana, as well as major metropolitan areas across India. Internationally, Popees plans to foray into markets like Abu Dhabi and Sharjah.
Expanding its footprint, the brand recently opened its second exclusive brand outlet in Kollam, Kerala. This milestone strengthens the brand’s offline presence in the southern region and increases its pan-India store count to 83.
Shaju Thomas, Managing Director and Chairman, Popees Group, says, the expansion reflects the brand’s commitment to growth in the rapidly evolving baby care market. The Kollam store is one of four exclusive brand outlets launched in Kerala.
Founded in 2003 by entrepreneur Shaju Thomas, Popees Baby Care was established to provide safe and effective products for babies. The brand’s offerings include a wide range of personal care items such as soaps, wet wipes, baby oils, creams, and powders, as well as diapers, fabric wash, toys, clothing, and footwear. Popees also caters to mothers with a dedicated line of maternity products.
With a workforce of over 2,000 employees and three production plants capable of manufacturing up to five lakh garments monthly, Popees Baby Care continues to position itself as a leader in the baby care segment.
