TIGC enters Kerala market with new store in Kochi

The Indian Garage Co expands offline presence with its third India store in Kochi, Kerala offering menswear, womenswear, and plus-size collections.

Prominent menswear brand, the Indian Garage Co (TIGC) has forayed into the Kerala market with its new store opening at Lulu Mall in Kochi. This is TIGC's third physical store in India, highlighting the brand's strategic shift from online to offline retail.

Inaugurated by Shibu Philips, Director-Shopping Malls, Lulu Group India, the store retails TIGC’s signature menswear range along with its womenwear brand FreeHand and plus-size fashion brand, HardSoda, It expands the brand’s customer base across the city.

TIGC first ventured into offline retail in October 2024 after nearly a decade of operating as a purely online brand. Its first store, spanning 3,000 sq ft. opened on Brigade Road in Bengaluru, followed by its second store earlier this month in Vanasthalipuram, Hyderabad.

Founded in 2012 by Anant Tanted with a team of just four, TIGC has grown significantly, now employing around 400 people. In FY24, the brand’s revenue increased to Rs 400 crore and it now aims to achieve a revenue of Rs 600 crore by FY25-end. This will help the brand consolidate its position in the Indian retail market.
