Macy’s private brands are being offered on Myntra.
Macy’s is an American retailer. Myntra will provide over 600 product options from Macy’s including Alfani, Karen Scott, Jenni, Club Room Men's, First Impressions, Epic Threads, and Ideology, among others as part of the launch, with 65 percent men’s and women’s apparel and the rest consisting of children’s wear.
Online fashion platform Myntra offers a wide range of over 5000 fashion and lifestyle brands in the country including H&M, Levis, US Polo Assn., Tommy Hilfiger, Louis Philippe, Nike, Puma, Crocs, MAC, Fossil, and more. It services over 19,000 pin codes across the country.
Foreign brands keen on India are willing to test this market through the online route and Myntra has become a valuable partner due to its sheer customer base. Macy’s runs hundreds of fashion stores in the US including high-end department store chain Bloomingdale’s and make-up and skincare chain Bluemercury.
Macy’s operates as an omnichannel retailer combining macys.com and a mobile app paired with a nationwide network of stores in the US that sell apparel, home, beauty, accessories, and more. It also retails third-party brands in its stores. Macy’s entry into India via the online route bypasses the need to make big investments in offline stores.
