Boito creates exclusive installation for India Art Fair in collaboration with Odisha artisans

Womenswear brand Boito has collaborated with artisans across Odisha to create an exclusive installation for India Art Fair, scheduled to be held from February 6-9, 2025 in New Delhi.
The installation created by the brand features the mythical creature, Navagunjara, which is unique to Sarala Das’ Odia Mahabharata. Known for its use of indigenous textiles and craft techniques, Boito uses to create fusion style ready to wear. The brand will translate this into its first large scale art installation for the India Art Fair.
To be hed at the NSIC Grounds in New Delhi, the upcoming editon of the India Art Fair will highlight work by South Asian artists and include a showcase of 17 young designers.
Founded in 2023, Boito retails from its direct to customer e-commerce store. The brand has teamed up with a few weaving communities in Odisha to help to preserve their handloom and craft traditions.
