Lifestyle expands footprint with the launch of its 124th India store in Surat, Gujarat to offer latest style trends and omnichannel shopping.

Landmark Group’s department store chain, Lifestyle continues to expand across India with the opening of its 124th store in Surat. Located at Madhuvan Circle in Adajan, the new store spans 30,000 sq ft, marking Lifestyle's third store in Surat, eighth in Gujarat, and 28th in India’s western region.

Vivek Thilakan, Senior Vice President – Operations (West) at Lifestyle International Pvt. Ltd., expressed his excitement on LinkedIn, sharing that the store will offer customers an improved shopping experience with the latest in apparel, footwear, accessories, and beauty products. The new store is built to address the growing demand for fashion and lifestyle items, providing an advanced shopping environment with modern retail technologies.

A standout feature of the new store is the introduction of self-checkout stations, streamlining the shopping process. Additionally, Lifestyle now offers an omnichannel shopping experience with its ‘click and collect’ service, where customers can shop online and pick up their orders at their convenience from a nearby store. This reflects the brand’s commitment to providing a seamless blend of online and in-store shopping.

Lifestyle stores typically range from 20,000 to 50,000 sq. ft. and offer a diverse range of products, including apparel, footwear, children’s clothing, toys, furniture, home furnishings, and personal care items. The stores feature over 350 renowned national and international brands, such as Louis Philippe, Van Heusen, Arrow, Benetton, Nike, Adidas, Levi’s, Tommy Hilfiger, and Tissot.

In May 2023, Lifestyle opened its 100th store. The brand now aims to accelerate its growth, with plans to open at least 50 new stores in India over the next three to four years, expanding its reach and catering to evolving customer demands.
