Snitch to open 10 new retail stores in January 2025, expanding its presence and targeting 100 locations across India.

Men’s direct-to-consumer (D2C) fashion brand Snitch is ramping up its omnichannel strategy by planning to open10 new retail stores in January 2025. Siddharth Dungarwal, Co-founder and CEO, Snitch, reveals, the brand will launch three stores in Bengaluru, with one each in Delhi, Hubli, Chennai, Guwahati, Pune, Rajahmundry, and Lucknow. This expansion will bring the startup’s total store count to 45.

Snitch’s goal is to aggressively expand its offline presence, aiming to reach 100 stores soon. The company plans to open over 65 new stores this year as part of its strategy to increase market penetration and solidify its position as a leading fashion destination across India, emphasizes Dungerwal.

Founded in 2019 by Dungarwal and Chetan Siyal, Snitch initially launched as an offline retail brand but pivoted to online sales in 2020 due to the pandemic-induced lockdowns. The brand offers a range of men’s apparel, including shirts, jackets, hoodies, co-ords, sweaters, and innerwear.

Snitch’s rapid expansion follows its successful Series A funding round, in which it raised $13.19 million, co-led by SWC Global and IvyCap Ventures. The brand also featured in the 2023 edition of Inc42’s FAST42 list, which highlights emerging D2C brands in India. Additionally, Snitch appeared on the popular TV show Shark Tank India in 2023, securing a Rs 1.5 crore investment from the show’s panel of investors: Aman Gupta (boAt), Namita Thapar (Emcure Pharmaceuticals), Anupam Mittal (Shaadi.com), Peyush Bansal (Lenskart), and Vineeta Singh (SUGAR).

Snitch’s growing competition includes brands like XYXX, DaMENSCH, Chromozome, BlissClub, Freecultr, and Bombay Shirt Company. For the financial year 2023-24 (FY24), Snitch reported a net profit of Rs 4.4 crore on an operating revenue of Rs 243 crore.
