Technosport to expand activewear production in India with Kar Mayer’s Tricot machines

Activewear brand Technosport has teamed up with textile machinery company Karl Mayer to acquire the its Tricot machines for active and sportswear production in India. The brand also collaborated with ATE Coimbatore to host an open house event at its facility in South India to display its machines and technology.
According to Sunil Jhunjhunwala, Co-founder, Technosport, hosting such events in partnership with ATE and Karl Mayer with help the brand to strengthen demand for the company’s wrap knitting technology in the Indian and international markets.
As a part of its efforts to expand the brand’s market in India, Technosport recently acquired Karl Mayer 'HKS-3M Tricot' warp knitting machines. The machines were showcased to over 100 industry professionals from Tiurpur, Erode and Combatore.
Appreciating Technosport for support in making the Open House a resounding success, Mark Smith, Deputy Vice President, Karl Mayer also commended the ATE Coimbatore team for their dedicated efforts in organizing and executing this impactful event. The company hopes to conduct more such events in the future to expand warp knitting capabilities in India, he said.
