Woodland promotes Pavandeep Singh

Pavandeep Singh is vice-president of Woodland. He joined the organisation as head of marketing strategy in 2019 and played an instrumental role in the growth of the brand during the Covid pandemic.
In his new role, he has been entrusted with the duty of re-inventing the brand’s identity and position in the market. He will also be looking after the expansion of the brand across the globe and aimsat creating a sustainable growth model for Woodland by capturing new markets while preserving its brand values.
Woodland is a footwear and outdoor gear brand. Woodland specialises in premium athleisure footwear designed for the outdoors and has a super-premium label called Wood. The brand, which began in Canada, entered India 25 years ago and retails through 500 stores with a presence in over 5,000 multi-brand outlets. Woodland has a strong foothold widely spread across the country through exclusive outlets as well as a presence in small and large format MBOs. Launching new products, and revamping existing products to satisfy the end user while maintaining the distinctive quality, is one vital exercise that Woodland being an international brand believes in.
During the pandemic, it crossed new milestones by marking a very strong presence across various e-commerce channels. Other than this, it has also expanded its footprint in the export market.
