Designer Anju Modi will showcase a collection made with Tencel Lyocell fibers at Lakme Fashion Week.
The collection titled Damayanti will not only pay homage to the works of renowned artist Raja Ravi Varma but is made with fibers produced from sustainably sourced wood by environmentally responsible processes.
The colourful and sustainable range will feature the versatile Tencel Lyocell and Modal fibers in an elegant collection of saris, lehenga-cholis as well as pre-stitched saris.
Known for their natural comfort, Tencel Lyocell fibers are versatile and can be combined with a wide range of textile fibers including cotton, wool, and silk which enhances their aesthetics and functionality. They are gentle on the skin with smooth, long-lasting softness, colour vibrancy, colour retention and efficient moisture absorption.
Lakme Fashion Week will be held in Mumbai, October 12 to 16, 2022. Lakméis India’s top color cosmetics and skincare brand and combines international cosmetic technology with an in-depth understanding of the Indian woman’s needs.
