Nahar Industrial Enterprises to acquire 'Cotton County Retail'

As per SEBI’s directives, India-based Nahar Industrial Enterprises plans to acquire the operational rights of Cotton County Retail and has scheduled a meeting with the company’s board of directors on Friday, August 27, 2021. Nahar Industrial Enterprises is a vertically integrated textile manufacturer, with operations ranging from spinning, weaving and processing, while Cotton County Retail is a subsidiary of Nahar Group of companies offering a wide range of products across summer wear such as formal, casual shirts, T-shirts, cotton trousers and denims, and winter-wear including sweaters, jackets, coats, suits, sweat-shirt.

The company was incorporated in November, 2001 as Creative Textrade. The name of the company was changed to Cotton County Retail in May, 2008. The brand celebrates the natural appeal of Cotton.
