Suresh Kumar, EVP, CTO & CDO, Walmart says, the company is realigning its business strategies to deal with complex business challenges created by COVID-19. The company is committed to ensure consumers and employees safety and also expanding business.
It has accelerated pickup and delivery services and is building a technology stack that will allow it to innovate and roll things out quickly. It is building a hybrid cloud that takes the best public cloud and the company’s private data centers. Cloud software is enabling the company to harness data on a large scale. Walmart is planning to continue investing in such softwares and modernize its facilities.
