The must-visit event, which was held from February 20-22, 2023, at the Bombay Exhibition Centre (BEC), Mumbai, covering a decent area of 120,000 square feet, covering 200+ brands, 100+ supply chain/raw material suppliers, 15,000+ Pan-India retailers, and varied distributors from nook & corner of the trade, and 500+ trade leading delegates.

Context setting; 2023 event was the 5th edition of INTIMASIA, supposed to be the largest B2B fashion expo in the intimate wear category in South Asia. The event served as a one-point forum bringing together producers, wholesalers, suppliers, retailers, and other diverse industry experts & professionals demonstrating & showcasing to ideate/interact and discuss the most-latest products, services, and technologies relevant to the whole long production chain.

The event brought to the spotlight outlining products such as lingerie, underwear, sleepwear, loungewear, swimwear, beachwear, yoga wear, activewear, children's innerwear, athleisure, shapewear, maternity wear, leggings, sportswear, thermals, socks, hosiery, and handkerchiefs, etc.

Noteworthy, here is that exhibiting suppliers also demonstrated fibers, yarns, elastics, lace, packaging, mannequins, retail software, display solutions, and machines. TENCEL™ INTIMASIA also highlighted/showcased product live demonstrations, collection launches/debuts, and engaging networking events all throughout its three-day trade show with gusto.

Data point; As per trade estimates," The Indian Innerwear & Comfort wear segment is presently worth 60,000 Crores and expected to hit 90,000 Crores by 2026 creating both incredible growth and enormous job opportunities.”
