adidas Originals, the pioneering sportswear brand for the streets, has launched a new campaign that cements the Trefoil as a cultural pioneer by teaming up with Bollywood Superstar and Cultural icon Ranveer Singh.
The campaign celebrates the Trefoil's 50+ year history and its impact on culture, from sport to skate, music, and fashion. It features three global campaign films that spotlight the Superstar, Gazelle, and Samba silhouettes, and how they have been embraced, reinterpreted, and absorbed into culture over time.
Ranveer Singh leads the campaign narrative for India alongside global counterparts Zinedine Zidane, David Beckham, Jenna Ortega, and Pusha T. In the campaign film, Singh reflects on his journey of becoming an actor and how the three stripes have always been a part of it.
He emphasizes the importance of staying connected to one's roots and never losing sight of where one came from, of always being an original.
The film features intimate camerawork and fluid cinematography, taking viewers up-close and personal with Singh on his journey of truly becoming an Original.
