International menswear brand, Celio has lined up several new collaborations in the coming year These include expanding their popular anime-inspired collections with new additions like Hunter X Hunter and a fresh Naruto Shippuden collection,
Celio will also partner with iconic sports stars and clubs to introduce iconic new styles to the brand’s customers besides strengthening the brand’s position in the market. These collaborations will drive the brand’s future growth and enhance its appeal in the Indian market, affirms Rejoy Rajan, Head –Marketing.
Seeing substantial growth potential in the Indian retail market, Celio is focusing on direct retail expansion. The brand has identified approximately 40 malls and nine high streets as prime locations for new stores. It aims to open around 50 new stores in existing cities and another 50-60 stores in Tier II and Tier III cities to broaden its reach.
Currently, Celio's top 11 cities account for 75 per cent of its business, with the South being its strongest market, followed by the North, West, and East. For future retail expansion, The brand will primarily focus on North India, particularly Delhi NCR, Punjab, and Uttar Pradesh.
In addition to brick-and-mortar retail, Celio is also strengthening its multi-channel presence. E-commerce platforms like Myntra, Ajio, and Amazon currently contribute 7 per cent of the company's revenue. With a greater emphasis on digital growth and optimized online strategies, Celio expects this share to increase to approximately 12-14 per cent in the near future.
