D2C player Cloudtailor goes offline

Direct-to-consumer fashion start-up Cloudtailor has entered the offline market with the launch of two exclusive brand outlets in south India. The start-up has opened a store in Hyderabad and Bangalore.
The stores will offer personalized fashion and tailoring services. Plans are on to start Cloud Tailor fulfilment centers at Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai, Pune and Chennai. Customers, overseas and domestic, will be given the choice to pick a city where they want the garments to be stitched.

A machine learning-based recommendation engine will be included in the mobile app. This is the world’s first online tailoring solutions app.
Cloudtailor recently raised funds to fuel its expansion and plans to open more offline stores across the country in the coming months. Cloudtailor operates on a phygital model and physical experience centers are an important part of its omnichannel strategy.
EBOs will play a very crucial role by allowing customers who are digitally clueless to get comfortable and experience hassle free service.
Launched in 2020, Cloudtailor started as a D2C mobile app specialising in the hyper-personalised women's wear segment. This is personalized digitized tailoring capable of seeking orders for women’s wear from across the world.
It aims at providing a memorable user experience, responsive customer care and a disciplined offline fulfillment, meaning the order is delivered on the promised date.
