Ajay Kumar launches new ready-to-wear collection at Haribin International Fashion Week 2025

Inspired by the harmony between humanity and nature, Indian designer Ajay Kumar launched his new ready-to-wear collection titled, ‘Elemental’ at the Haribin International Fashion Week 2025.

Features bold, clashing prints, handloom cottons, and experimental silhouettes for both men and women, the collection launched with a runway show featuring appearances by Ketut Permata Juliastrid, Miss Cosmo 2024 nd Aman, Mr Supernational India 2024. The collection features design elements including animal prints, lotus blooms, and roses. A jewel-toned color palette, accented with gold embroidery and fluid silk textiles, adds depth to the collection.

Created in partnership with local Indian artisans, the collection emphasizes on ethical manufacturing practices from embroidery to tailoring. As Kumar states, luxury cannot exist without responsibility, He urges brands to honor the earth’s elements through mindful creation.

Harbin International Fashion Week 2025 was held at the Hongbo Contemporary Art Museum in Harbin, China. Hosted by the China Textile Industry Federation, the event showcased designers from around the globe.
