The Retailers Association of India (RAI) successfully hosted the 3rd edition of the Bengaluru Retail Summit (BRS) on June 18, 2025, at the Sheraton Grand Bangalore. The summit brought together leading voices from across India’s retail ecosystem to explore emerging trends, disruptive technologies, and growth strategies in a dynamic, tech-savvy marketplace.

Positioned in India’s innovation capital, the event reinforced Bengaluru’s role as a retail trendsetter. “Bengaluru is India’s innovation city where young, globally exposed consumers and retailers shape what’s next,” said Kumar Rajagopalan, CEO, RAI. “To succeed in retail, you need to fuse modern digital flair with the warmth of local tradition.”

A major highlight of the day was Chetan Krishnaswamy’s presentation, “Be Where Your Customers Are: The Omnichannel Revolution in Indian Retail”. The Vice President of Public Policy at Amazon India shared insights on how brands are adapting to serve digitally-connected, choice-driven consumers.

Siddharth Dungarwal, Founder and CEO of Snitch, joined for a Fireside Chat, offering a startup lens on scaling in the fashion-tech space.

Deepak Jain, CEO of Amante India, noted, “Bengaluru’s customers know exactly what they want comfort, style, and value. We’re adapting by innovating with tech-enabled design and expanding omni-channel touchpoints across the city.”

Devarajan Iyer, Executive Director and CEO, Lifestyle International, added, “We see shoppers switching between online and in store with ease. Bengaluru demands experiences that are seamless in both digital and physical.”

Subhash Chandra L, MD & CEO, Sangeetha Mobiles and Chairman of RAI Bengaluru Chapter, highlighted regional innovation: “Karnataka’s retail players are stepping up with flexible financing, fast delivery, and tech-enabled showrooms. We’re building a model rooted in community and ready for next-gen connectivity.”

With panels on tech adoption, data-led growth, and experiential retail, BRS 2025 reaffirmed RAI’s mission to foster collaboration and shape the future of Indian retail.
