Brandix India Apparel City (BIAC) has bagged the prestigious Greentech Global Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) Award for Best Practices in the Environment Protection category for 2024.
The award was conferred upon BIAC for its steadfast dedication to environmental sustainability and innovative measures to protect and preserve the environment.
As a leader in the apparel and textile industry, BIAC has consistently set standards for sustainable practices. The park sustainably meets fifty percent of its annual water consumption needs through rainwater harvesting. It is also the first industry in the state to install a Solar Sludge Dryer, making BIAC a zero-landfill apparel park. The park is committed to achieving net-zero emissions by 2030 through ongoing investments in clean energy and optimising overall energy consumption.
