Cantabil Retail to expand with 70 new stores in FY26: Deepak Bansal, Director

Cantabil Retail India plans to expand its store network by opening 70–80 new stores in FY26, notes Deepak Bansal, Director. The company currently operates over 550 EBOs in 20 states and more than 250 cities across India, and its expansion will help strengthen its presence within these states.
Cantabil will also increase the production capacity of its Bahadurgarh facility to support same-store sales growth and align with market trends, adds Bansal.
Founded in 2000 by Vijay Bansal, Hemant Bansal, and Deepak Bansal, Cantabil began with men's apparel before expanding into women's wear, a kids' line, athleisure, and footwear.
In addition to its physical stores, Cantabil sells through its D2C website, Cantabilshop.com, and e-commerce marketplaces like Myntra, Ajio, Flipkart, Nykaa, TataCLiQ, and Amazon. The company recently upgraded its e-commerce platform, Cantabilshop.com, adding features like real-time inventory updates and personalized recommendations. Cantabil aims to increase e-commerce sales from the current 6–7 per cent to 8–9 per cent of total sales.
For the fiscal year ending March 31, 2024, Cantabil reported 12 per cent growth in revenue, reaching Rs 616.49 crore, with a profit after tax of Rs 62.22 crore. The company aims to achieve Rs 1,000 crore in revenue by FY26.
The company is currently growing at a CAGR of 16 per centY-o-Y and aims to increase this to 18 per cent, adds Bansal.
