Designers Palak, Aarohi Shah of famed brand ‘Ekaya Banaras’ team up for collaborative collection

Designers Palak Shah and Aarohi Shah, owners of brands Ekaya Banaras and Arohi, have teamed up to launch a collaborative collection that blends handloom heritage with a bold modernity.

The Arohi x Ekaya collaborative collection has been launched on Ekaya’s e-commerce store with a range of sarees and fusion wear designs. It features sheer blouses paired with cigarette pants, striped sarees, organza kurtas, and fusion-style designs such as a kurta which resembles a coat dress in vibrant magenta.

The collection comprises experimental textiles and silhouettes keeping in mind the ever-growing demand for easy-to-wear modern saris and ready-to-wear clothing, combining craftsmanship and attention to detail.

The collection’s main motif is bold stripes, rendered in a modern color palette of greys with more jewel tones also thrown in. It blends Arohi’s experimental and deconstructed aesthetic with Ekaya’s rich handloom heritage.
