Known for its women's collections, occasion wear brand Dolly J has officially ventured into menswear, launching a new line just in time for the upcoming festive and wedding seasons. This expansion features both traditional and fusion-style designs.
Currently available on Dolly J's direct-to-consumer e-commerce site, the new collection presents a curated selection of 20 distinct designs. Beyond its custom couture pieces, the brand also provides a range of ready-to-ship garments online.
A part of Dolly J's latest collection, ‘An Heirloom Summer,’ which seamlessly blends heritage aesthetics with modern tailoring, the new collection features exquisitely embroidered sarees to tailored achkans and Lucknowi sherwanis crafted for those who embrace tradition with a contemporary edge.
It showcases a variety of styles, from sophisticated tuxedos to traditional sherwanis, all adorned with intricate embroidery techniques, particularly highlighting those from Kashmir.
Founded in 2009 by entrepreneur and creative director Dolly Jhunjhunwala, Dolly J specializes in traditional bridal and occasion wear tailored for modern Indian sensibilities. The label is available through various multi-brand retailers, including prominent names like Pernia's Pop-Up Shop, Aza Fashions, and Aashni and Co. Dolly J is headquartered in Delhi and has not yet sought external funding, according to business intelligence platform Tracxn.
