Iconic British fashion brand renowned for its innovation and craftsmanship, DoubleTWO plans to explore licensing opportunities across various product categories in partnership with Bradford License India.

Founded in 1940 in Wakefield, West Yorkshire, DoubleTWO is the pioneer of the world’s first fiber shirt developed in partnership with Dr Rex Whinfield, the inventor of polyester. Over the last 80 years, the brand has consistently delivered high-quality fabrics, impeccable fits, timeless styles, and forward-thinking designs, earning global recognition for its excellence and heritage.

Having entered India in 2018 with its flagship store in Bengaluru, DoubleTWO is known for its superior non-iron shirts and stylish garments. Building on this success, the brand is now actively seeking licensees for categories such as women’s wear, kids’ wear, footwear, accessories, lingerie, luggage, backpacks, and franchise partners for its apparel line.

Contributing significantly to the country’s overall licensing industry, India’s fashion and lifestyle licensing market is projected to grow to $9.5 billion by 2025. This expansion is being fueled by the burgeoning middle class, urbanization, and a rising demand for global brands. Categories like apparel, accessories, footwear, and lifestyle products dominate the market, while segments such as home décor, fragrances, eyewear, and tech accessories are emerging as high-growth areas.
