Enquiries pick up ahead of Rakshabandhan
The festive season is set to kick off with Rakshabandhan falling on August 30, according to traders. Manufacturers have observed a positive initial trend in demand from retailers, showing potential for more than a 10% increase.
However, they are cautious and acknowledge that the market sentiment will be influenced by the weather, particularly the rains and crop output.
Retailers expects delivery in the last week of August. While they are optimistic about better sales, the ultimate market trend will be heavily influenced by the performance of the monsoon.
