Myntra celebrates evolving fashion-technology relationship with Tech Threads 2024

India’s premier fashion e-commerce platform, Myntra hosted its flagship annual event, ‘Myntra Tech Threads 2024’ to celebrate the evolving relationship between fashion and technology. Themed ‘Trends in Real Life,’ the day-long extravaganza brought together industry leaders, iconic brands, and creative minds to explore the future of fashion in a rapidly digitising world.
With a star-studded lineup of speakers, engaging discussions, and spectacular performances, the event was a testament to Myntra’s vision of blending innovation with style. Hosted by the effervescent humorists Abish Mathew and Sumukhi Suresh, the event opened with a powerful keynote address by Nandita Sinha, CEO, Myntra, who highlighted the company’s commitment to empowering India’s fashion ecosystem. She emphasised on Myntra’s focus to cater to Gen Z consumers.
Recognising the contributions of over 9,700 partner brands on Myntra’s platform, the event awarded the best-performing brands of 2024 followed by a panel discussion featuring industry stalwarts delved into the evolution of global and Indian fashion trends.
Moderated by Nandita Sinha, CEO, Myntra, the panel included Vishak Kumar, CEO, Madura Fashion and Lifestyle; Sidhant Keshwani, Founder and CEO, Libas; Neelendra Singh, Managing Director, Adidas India; Aman Gupta, Co-founder and CMO, boat; Manish Poddar, CEO, House of Rare and Helena Kuylenstierna, Director, H&M India
The discussion highlighted India’s dynamic fashion landscape and how global influences are being tailored to local tastes.
The event ended with a dazzling fashion show by the House of Pataudi, unveiling their exclusive ‘Bhu Mandal’ collection. Inspired by cosmic elements, the collection transported the audience through celestial realms—earth, sun, moon, and stars. Bollywood icon Saif Ali Khan, the brand ambassador, graced the runway in a regal blue sherwani as the showstopper. Sharing his thoughts, Khan expressed pride in how the House of Pataudi celebrates heritage while embracing modernity.
