E-commerce giant Myntra has named Bollywood star Ayushmann Khurrana, as the brand ambassador for the renowned American lifestyle label, Nautica, in India. This partnership signifies Myntra's strategic move to enhance Nautica's presence in the Indian market.
Khurrana will be the face of Nautica's latest Spring-Summer collection campaign, embodying the adventurous ethos of the brand. Venu Nair, Chief - Strategic Partnerships and Omnichannel, Myntra, says, Khurrana's association will help Nautica connect with its target audience, aligning seamlessly with the actor's dedicated fan base.
The venture stems from Flipkart group's acquisition of the licensing and distribution rights for Nautica in India back in 2019, subsequently granting Myntra exclusive online retail privileges for the brand. Leveraging this partnership, Nautica's latest ad campaign featuring Khurrana will span various platforms including print, outdoor, social media, and digital mediums, with a focus on engaging men aged 22 to 60.
Nautica boasts a diverse portfolio spanning over 35 categories, including apparel, accessories, and home collections for men, women, and children. Currently, the brand enjoys a global presence in nearly 1,400 stores across 65 countries, with online retail available through platforms like Nautica, Myntra, and Flipkart.
