Raymond Lifestyle appoints Gautam Hari Singhania as new Executive Chairman

Raymond Lifestyle has appointed Gautam Hari Singhania as the company’s new Executive Chairman, as per its announcement in a filing to SEBI.
The appointment was confirmed through a special resolution proposed in a Postal Ballot Notice dated November 4, 2024. Of the total 41,757,480 votes cast, around 86.85 per cent were in Singhania’s favor, while 13.15 per cent voted against the resolution. With the requisite majority achieved, the resolution has been successfully passed.
This strategic decision underscores the company’s intent to leverage Singhania’s extensive industry experience and leadership acumen to fuel growth and boost operational efficiency. The appointment comes as the Raymond Group celebrates its centenary, marking 100 years of operation.
Raymond Lifestyle was listed on the stock exchanges on September 5, 2024, following its demerger from Raymond Ltd. Singhania continues to hold leadership roles across both entities, further consolidating his influence in steering the group’s future trajectory.
