Festive Sale GMV Grows 16%, Mobile, Electronics, Appliances Drive Sales

OnlineShopping

16 October 2023, Mumbai

IN BRIEF

Gross Merchandise Value (GMV) grew by 16% in the first four days of the festive sale, with average daily sales six times higher than normal business.

The main reason for the sales boost was the high demand for products with a high average selling price (ASP), such as mobiles, electronics, and large appliances. Products with a lower ASP, such as fashion, beauty, personal care (BPC), and home, may gain more traction as the festive sale week continues.
