V-Mart Retail’s Q3 results

08 March 2022, Mumbai:

Q3 FY22 consolidated net profit of V-Mart Retail surged 19.3 percent to Rs 57.11 crore as net sales surged 47.2 percent to Rs 692.02 crore over Q3 FY21.

The retailer’s stocks rallied 3.38 per cent to Rs 3,497.70 after SBI Mutual Fund (MF) bought 8.97 lakh equity shares in the company on March 03. 2022.

Transaction increased SBI Mutual Fund’s (MF) shareholding in V-Mart Retail to 8.7602 per cent from 4.2153 per cent stake held earlier.

The deal was executed as market purchase.

The company also offers a wide range of home furnishings, general merchandise, toys, tableware, utensils, and other home utility items.

V-Mart Retail owns, operates, and franchises medium sized hypermarket format retail stores that sell clothes, accessories, and footwear for men, women, and kids, cosmetics, luggage, toys, and games, and food, non-food, and staple items.
