Puma India’s revenues rise with growing demand for fitness clothing

Growing investments in fitness clothing and sports equipment helped Puma India boost revenues to Rs 2,044 crore in 2021, says Abhishek Ganguly, Managing Director.
The company’s next phase of growth will focus on the market outside metros. It will also place greater emphasis on enhancing customers’ shopping experiences, Ganguly says.

Last year during the pandemic, Puma launched 1DER with KL Rahul. It also sponsored the IPL team Royal Challengers Bangalore.
This helped the company expand its consumer base, adds Ganguly.
In the future, Puma India aims to open more stores across the country.

It will also expand its e-commerce business and launch new products based on these product categories.
The brand also plans to expand its investment in marketing.
Another of Puma’s plans includes foraying into Tier II and III cities across India, Ganguly opines.
The brand plans to open large-size stores in these cities.
