Lehar Footwear is making a significant move into the sports and athleisure footwear market with the launch of its new brand, Rannr. Known for its popular slippers and sandals, the company is leveraging its extensive manufacturing and distribution capabilities to drive nationwide growth for this new venture.
Rannr will be supported by Lehar’s existing production facilities in Jaipur, Rajasthan, and Kundli, Haryana. The brand plans to tap into a wide network of more than 520 distributors across 27 states to ensure a strong presence in the market. In addition to traditional retail channels, Rannr will be available on all major e-commerce platforms and will also have its own dedicated direct-to-consumer (D2C) website to connect directly with customers.
The new brand's portfolio is set to expand quickly, moving from core sports shoes into running, walking, training, and lifestyle categories. Lehar also has ambitious plans for international expansion, with its sights set on markets across Asia, Africa, and the Middle East.
According to Raj Kumar Agarwal, Chairman and Whole-time Director of Lehar Footwear, the goal is to provide millions of consumers with reliable, stylish, and high-performance sports shoes at an affordable price. He states, the brand launch is a part of Lehar’s broader strategy to build on its recent strong financial performance, which included record-breaking revenue of Rs 277.2 crore in the fiscal year 2025, followed by Rs 142.2 crore in the first quarter of fiscal year 2026.
With a proven track record of successfully diversifying into new product categories, including EVA footwear with brands like Crozi, Hilux, Bliss, and Hawai Slippers, Lehar Footwear is confident in its ability to replicate this success in the competitive sports and lifestyle footwear space with its new Rannr brand.
