Reliance Brands to open Ray-Ban stores with Luxottica Group

Reliance Brands plans to open Ray-Ban branded stores in India in association with Italy’s Luxottica Group.
Reliance will open a chain of Ray-Ban standalone stores as well as shop-in-shops and counters in other department chains within the Reliance brand and outside of the group.

Reliance Brands has also acquired India franchisee rights and an existing network of stores of Sunglass Hut from DLF Brands.
This will give Reliance Brands rights over more than 80 outlets of Sunglass Hut, a multi-brand seller of eyewear brands of Prada, Burberry, Versace, Tom Ford, Dolce & Gabbana, Oakley, etc. Luxottica currently sells Ray-Ban products through hundreds of multi-brand outlets.
