India's leading fashion company, Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Limited (ABFRL), has partnered with 1M1B to launch the Green Jobs and Sustainability Accelerator program.
The program aims to raise awareness among young people about climate change and encourage their participation in the fight against it. The initiative, which involves a seven-day program for students from over 25,000 schools and colleges, seeks to mobilize one million young people by 2030 to contribute to climate change action.
The program includes internship and workplace experiences at ABFRL and is designed to equip students with valuable skills and perspectives to make a positive impact on the environment.
The top student team will be invited to present their work at the UN headquarters in New York this year. ABFRL aims to support 20 students through the initiative, which is a significant step towards promoting sustainability and social responsibility in the long term.
