Suneet Verma to unveil collection at FDCI X Lakme Fashion Week

Designer Suneet Varma will unveil his first ready-to-wear collection (RTW), at the upcoming edition of FDCI X Lakmé Fashion Week in New Delhi.

Titled, ‘The Eternal Lightness of Being,’ the collection offers youthful, elegant day and evening separates with ensembles that can be worn for both casual and special occasions by slightly twisting its style. Known for his effortless, feminine, and elegant designs, Verma has infused textures using crinkled chiffon, crushed georgette, sheer organza and black, red and colorful thread embroideries in the collection.

The collection also offers tasseled short dresses, trousers, color-on-color sequin, and thread embroidery on a long evening dresses with seductive slits, origami-inspired rope embroidery on jackets and short sexy sarees.

The designer is collaborating with footwear brand Bata for the collection Gunjan Shah, MD and CEO of Bata India says, such partnership help in bringing in-vogue designs to Gen Z and Millennials.

Designer Varma’s design philosophy complements Bata’s fashion-forward imagery as reflected in its brands.
