Amethyst, a multi-brand premium Indian womenswear store, has organized a shopping event to introduce ethnic wear company Shades of India's clothes and textiles to Chennai. Shades of India will be at Amethyst for its Annual Sale shopping event from August 20 to 30, the boutique said in a news release on Monday.
Shades of India's characteristic cotton fabrics are used in the pop-up shop's kurtas, sarees, dupattas, blouses, and trousers, as well as accessories. Shades of India's newest womenswear collection features a laid-back vibe, with loose-fitting clothes and lightweight fabrics. The collection, which includes tactile appliqué elements, plays with texture to lend a whimsical touch to its more pared-down designs.

The accessories in the collection start at Rs 600 ($8) while the outfits start at Rs 1,400. There is also a range of household textile goods available, including pillows and textile runners, among other things. Shades of India was founded in 1992 by Mandeep Nagi and David Housego and has a global presence. Harrods and the Conran Shop in the United Kingdom, ABC and Gumps in the United States, Le Bon Marche in Paris, and Lane Crawford in Hong Kong are just a few of the worldwide multi-brand boutiques that carry the brand.
