A prominent manufacturer of a wide range of textile products, TT Ltd has begun commercial production at its new unit in Howrah, West Bengal.
Spanning 125,000 sq ft within the West Bengal Hosiery Park, this new factory began operations in July 2025. The unit specializes in manufacturing innerwear and casual wear, with an aim to meet the rising demand in the domestic market and capitalize on emerging garment export opportunities. India's Free Trade Agreement (FTA) with the UK and an anticipated Bilateral Trade Agreement with the US are expected to provide India with a tariff advantage over China, further boosting export potential.
As per TT Ltd’s estimates, the new facility will produce approximately 3.5 to 4 million pieces annually once it reaches full operational capacity by Q3 2025. The company also plans to double the unit's capacity as existing operations stabilize over the next three to six months. Additionally, this facility will serve as a key distribution hub for the entire Eastern Indian market.
To ensure the highest export quality and certification standards, TT Ltd has imported all machinery at the new plant has from leading international manufacturers. The company has also registered for SEDEX certification, ensuring full compliance from day one.
