KVIC secures new trademark registrations for Bhutan, UAE & Mexico

Khadi and Village Industries Commision (KVIC), the statutory body for khadi under the ministry of MSME has secured trademark registrations in countries like Bhutan, UAE, and Mexico.
As per Fashion Network, KVIC has already by trademark applications in 40 countries including the USA, Qatar, Sri Lanka, Japan, Italy, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Brazil, among many others.
Currently, KVIC has secured trademark registrations for khadi in nine countries with the others being Germany, the UK, Australia, Russia, China, and EU.

With the trademark registrations, KVIC will be able to sell official khadi products that includes fabric, readymade garments, khadi soaps, khadi cosmetics, khadi incense sticks, etc.
