Lakme Fashion Week makes a comeback to New Delhi from October 8-12, 2025

Lakmé Fashion Week (LFW) is making a comeback to New Delhi, with events scheduled from October 8-12, 2025. The move comes after the bi-annual event, collaboration between Lakmé and the Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI), celebrated its 25th anniversary in Mumbai earlier this year.
The Delhi edition is organized by Lakmé India, the FDCI, and Reliance Brands. The organizers highlighted the importance of showcasing Indian fashion in the capital, which they consider a major fashion hub.
Sunanda Khaitan, Vice President, Lakmé India, emphasized the event's lasting legacy in shaping Indian fashion and its commitment to innovation. Echoing this sentiment, Sunil Sethi, Chairman, FDCI, noted the event's crucial role in empowering designers and opening up new markets for the industry. Jaspreet Chandok, Vice President, Reliance Brands, added, LFW is more than just a series of runway shows; it's a ‘cultural moment’ that showcases creativity and innovation.
This event is a key platform for both established and emerging designers, and it aims to boost the business of fashion in India while celebrating the country's rich craftsmanship.
