Moonray’s 1st flagship store opens in Phoenix Palladium shopping mall

Housing the brand’s youthful and sustainable designs, fashion and accessories brand Moonray’s first flagship store has been opened in Mumbai’s Phoenix Palladium shopping mall.
Featuring an all-white landscape, the store embraces conscious craft narratives and initiates a dialogue between the inner and outer worlds, the amorphous with the fiercely detailed. The store design is a collaboration between artistic director Karishma Swali and noted interior designer Tejal Mathur.
Featuring an all-white seating area, sculptural displays for accessories, and large plants dotted throughout the space, the storehouses Moonray’s summer 2022 collection with vintage elements and sustainable fabrics. Launched at the end of 2021, the brand has swiftly diversified its product selection and distribution network.
One half of Jade by Monica & Karishma, Karishma Swali is the creative director of the embroidery business House of Chanakya. Fashion brand Moonray is Swali’s venture with daughter Avantika and targets a younger customer base with prices in the bridge-to-luxury segment of the market. The brand uses 50 percent of its proceeds to support children’s education and animal welfare through NGOs.
